Roasted chestnuts


When it comes to associating fall with something, roasted chestnuts always pop into my mind. I don't know about your city, but here, in Sofia, as soon as October comes, everywhere around the main streets starts to smell like roasted chestnut! This is one of thing I find autumn beautiful about.

I usually combine them with red wine and fireplace, if available. The perfect cozy, romantic dish for when the temperatures fall down and leaves start to turn golden.
